INFO PRODUCT
Blog Label: Yellow
Brand : Cetaphil
Name : Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser & Moisturizing Cream

Price based on stores in Indonesia.

"Originally dubbed "Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion," the first product was invented by a pharmacist in 1947 for dermatology needs. In its early years, Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion was only available from select pharmacists but quickly became a highly recommended product by dermatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals for common skin conditions. Due to consumer demand, more drugstores began selling the increasingly popular cleanser and by the 1980s it was available at all major retail stores across North America."

The packaging is so simple and nothing special about it. It has this almost white satin color with blue cap. I quite like the flip cap, it's easier to use and safe to be carrying around. The one that i got, 125ml ones, it's quite small, still travel friendly and even still okay to bring this cleanser on your pouch/bag on daily basis.

This is the texture. You see it's actually quite light and it's really nice to use it for washing your face or body. As it feels like using a liquid lotion, no bubble or foam whatsoever. It's really easy to clean, you can rinse it or just remove the excess with soft clothes. Totally amazed that i don't have to use water hahahhaa. I mean on a daily basis i totally rinse it with water, but while traveling or outdoor, i can use it real easy. It has no sticky residue or whatever, the feeling left is just a soft skin after i wash/ use tissue to clean it.
So far i use it for facial wash for this past 2 weeks, and i totally love it. I started using this when my skin is dry due to acne and it was really hurt. Idk why, but suddenly my acne are all hurt and my face turned really red, it's even hurt to touch it, let alone rub it. At first i didn't want to use anything to clean my face, but then i remember i have this Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. So after a few consideration i tried this and voila! The skin is waaaaayy better! I mean not suddenly my acne gone or anything, but the redness does reduced and it's not as hurt as before.
That's why i can tell this is really good for sensitive skin. Sure i still have acne all over, not to mention the ones that just appear, it's like a never ending problem, but the thing is, i can wash it without a sensitive skin feeling. This cleanser save my skin for the moment hahaha.

2. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
     Content: 100gr
     Made In : France

"Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream contains a superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss. The result is long-lasting relief for even severely dry skin. The non-greasy formula is excellent for hands, feet, elbows, knees, and any other areas that require intensive moisturization.
  • Intense and lasting moisture to replenish sensitive, dry skin — great for eczema-prone and very dry skin
  • Clinically proven to provide immediate, long-lasting hydration that soothes dry, itchy skin
  • Unique formula attracts water to the skin and helps prevent moisture loss
  • Quick absorbing, rich, non-greasy
  • Fragrance-free, mild, non-irritating, no parabens or lanolin, non-comedogenic"

Just like the cleanser, the packaging of moisturizing cream is actually quite the same, simple and nothing really special about it. It using white tube with scroll cap. But it's really easy to use and not messy at all! It's also because of the texture like you can see below:

See, the texture is quite dense, so it's really easy to squeeze out without getting messy. Anyway, even though it's quite dense, the texture is really light and easy to blend without greasy or thick feeling. Anyway because it's non-comedogenic i assumed it also can be use for face, not just for body. Just like the cleanser, it's nice that this one also can be use for body or face.
So far i mostly use it on my face, because like i mention earlier my face, especially cheek area, is kinda dry because of the annoying acne. It's really ugly when i try to put on bb cream or foundation because it's dry, you know what i mean. But now my skin is better! I can put bb cream easily without it looks patchy or dry. I guess the moisturizing cream does works well!
I haven't really use it on my body long enough, but it does makes my feet and knees a little more softer. But i don't use it regularly because i'm quite lazy hehehe. Even though i rarely use it, but the specific areas that i applied on are getting softer really. So i could say it works nice for dry skin really. Oh, but because my facial skin is actually normal-oily, even though the acne part where it dried looks nicer, unfortunately the rest of my face looks oily when i use this cream on my face hahaha. No matter how it looks, my face actually doesn't feels oily though, only moisturized.

OVERALL REVIEW

So far i should say i really love using this cleanser and cream for my daily routine! It does help making my skin less dry, less redness and less hurt (acne hurting my face and make it kinda sensitive to touch on the past week before using this). I love how both can be use for face or body! It's like making my life easier when i want to travel or want to bring both of them outdoor daily. Pluuusss, i love how the skin cleanser can be clean with towel also, a.k.a no need to rinse! But so far i'm using water to rinse it though, i just feel more clean that way.
This is my skin condition right now, like you can see on the pictures below. Not great, but better. See the redness a bit reduced? Yes, there are some new acne popping again, but i feel better even though i'm near my time of the month. Usually the acne is already hurt like hell at this time hahhaa.

Left side is before i use the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream and the right one is about 1-2 weeks after i use it. Quite different i guess and the skin that dried because of the acne is better.

Pro:
+ light on skin
+ the consistency is nice for both product
+ no fragrance
+ good for sensitive skin
+ no paraben & lanolin
+ non irritating
+ non comedogenic
+ quite good for acne skin i guess
+ moisturizing so well
+ easy to use and easy to bring anywhere
+ can be use either from face or body
+ gentle
+ the moisturizer is non greasy
+ the cleanser can be used with or without water
+ works nicely even though i haven't use it long enough

Cons:
-  a bit pricey but worth it though
- the skin cleanser can't really rinse makeup well, i mean almost not at all, so make sure you double cleanse

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Even Anna loves it! She loves it because sometimes Elsa make it way too cold around that Anna's skin gets dry. So Cetaphil is really a skin safer, hehheehe. So if you have dry skin like Anna and I, you should totally check both of this products out, because we recommend it! You can buy it at Guardian, Century, Watsons, AEON, Kemchicks, Grandlucky, Foodhall and else.

That's all my review for now, i guess i'm still gonna use this for a while because it's really good for a sensitive skin. See you on my next post guys!

Love,
