Well, i'll tell you a little about Bioderma and the product knowledge first. A pioneer since the 1970s, all BIODERMA products are formulated with teams of biologists and dermatologists. They rely on a biological mode of action that acts on the causes and consequences of the dermatological condition to correct it over the long term. Each Bioderma product adheres to the most rigorous recommendations issued by the health authorities and leading dermatology companies, so most of the products are totally recommended and safe for even sensitive skin. Anyway Bioderma has many kind of product line, one of them are Hydrabio, especially made for dehydrated skin. Dehydrated and dry skin in here means lack of water, not lack of oil. Keep in mind because it's kind of a different skin problem hehe. Dehydrated skin is more like a skin condition and can change through time, such as because of weather etc.

As you might know, every day, pollution, stress, cold weather, etc. disrupt the skin's cellular activity. As a result, it becomes dehydrated, tight and uncomfortable and loses its radiance. Developed in the Bioderma Research laboratories, the Aquagenium™ biological patent found in Hydrabio retrains the skin to activate its natural moisturising capacities by stimulating the production of aquaporins, water channels in the skin, and retain the water it needs to be balanced. Also it contain Vitamin PP to restores the skin resistance and Apple Seed Extract to stimulates the activity of Aquaporins, allowing the water flow within the skin.

So basically this is the differences between dehydrated skin (left) and hydrated skin (right). It might a bit blurry, so let me explain a little to you. Hydrated skin needs more Aquaporins for a better water circulation, a strong Hydrolipidic film, Intercorneocyte cement and sufficient NMF for strong barrier. That's how Bioderma Hydrabio can helps your skin to stay hydrated!

Well, i feel like my skin sometimes feel dehydrated, especially when i'm inside the room with AC for a long time (like everyday, duh). Usually i  used Bioderma Hydrabio Brume, a water spray that works nicely on my skin, refreshed my skin and makes it hydrated. But somehow i still feel it's not enough, even though dehydrated skin is temporary condition like i mention above because it can change daily, i still feel dehydrated skin needs to be taken care of. So i was a bit excited to try Bioderma Hydrabio Serum, especially because i'm so loving the Hydrabio Brume.

Basically i haven't try it for a really long time, more or less it's been around 2 weeks. So far i already feel the differences, so i want to share the serum review for you guys who also experiencing dehydrated skin.

PACKAGING & USAGE
      Let's see the packaging first:

The serum packed in a box with white and blue dominant colors, blue means Hydrabio range i guess. Like other Bioderma product, the packaging is simple and looks professional. You can see the product knowledge and how to use the product in the packaging as well (in french, english, and some other language).

How to use:
Apply Hydrabio Serum morning and/or evening all over the face and neck, after cleansing with Hydrabio Lait (cleansing milk) or Hydrabio H2O and toning with Hydrabio Tonique (toning lotion). Use alone or before a cream.

Ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Xylitol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Mannitol, Rhamnose, Fructooligosaccharides, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Niacinamide, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trideceth-6, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hexyldecanol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Disodium Edta, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum). [BI 568V1]

This is what inside the box. The bottle made with some thick plastic, so don't worry if it falls. The size is just perfect, not to big or small, can still easily bring anywhere. The blue cap can easily be open and you need to turn the nozzle to the right before you can pump it. Yep, it's a twist and lock kind of pump, so convinient.

So it's totally easy to absorb as it almost looks like water, only thicker. It doesn't leave a weird feeling, not leaving any sticky feeling as well, just absorb like that, leaving the skin completely moist and hydrated. I fell in love since i first try it. It moisturized the skin and i feel like my skin dehydrated. I know the different because when touch, my skin feels different, more moist, supple and elastic. It doesn't really show in the camera, so i didn't take any picture of it. But trust me, you can feel the different. It also makes the skin feel refreshed when applied.

Anyway i usually use it day and night, all over my face and also neck. I don't need a lot of amount since it's already hydrated the skin so much with only a little amount. I usually use like 1-2 pump and spread it all over my face. It always feels nice when applying the serum hehe. Anyway since it already makes my skin hydrated and moist, i usually skip to put more face cream after that.

Oh! I also proved that it makes a nice makeup base! It claim that its fresh and melting texture provides an excellent makeup base, which is true, because your skin does feels really soft and prepared after using this serum, just like when you use primer. No cracking foundation so far and even the thickest foundation of mine blend perfectly fine when using Hydrabio Serum! Pssstt, and i only blend it with fingers, not using any tools, so it makes me fell in love deeper.
